Implant Dentistry
Here at Quincy Dental Center, we strive to offer the best plan possible for tooth replacement. If an implant is recommended, we would like to be cleat that Dr. Pritts does NOT place the surgical portion of the implants in the office. She prefers to send the surgical placement out to a surgeon (Oral Surgeon or Periodontist) for placement. This surgeon has specialized training to ensure there is less chance of a complication upon implant placement. Once the implant has been placed and the surgeon has verified it is safe to place a tooth on the implant, the patient is then sent back to Dr. Pritts for fabrication of the final prosthesis (crown or other tooth replacement).

Single Tooth Implants
If you're missing a tooth and want the very best dentistry has to offer, you could be the perfect candidate for single-tooth implants. Single-tooth implants act as tooth roots for replacement teeth. They are securely anchored into the jaw and topped with a dental crown for the very best in look, feel and function. Single-tooth implants offer several advantages over other tooth replacement options, such as dental bridges and partial dentures. Surrounding teeth and the jawbone are better preserved. Single-tooth implants are also easier to clean. And they can also outlast bridges and dentures by about 10 years!
